Scrap the Fuel Tax Petition

Campbell's tax on fuel is unfair to British Columbians, won't help the environment.

While big oil companies are raking in record profits, people in Surrey are paying through the nose -- at the gas pump, the local trucking industry, or home heating.

The new tax will hit Surrey where it hurts. The Campbell government’s $100 rebate will cover maybe a tank or two of gas…what about the rest of the year!

Bruce Ralston and NDP say that if Gordon Campbell were serious about fighting climate change, he'd axe the fuel tax and focus on the big polluters.
